Harry Djanogly

Sir Harry Djanogly (born 1 August 1938) is a British textile manufacturer with a particular interest in Art and Education. In 1936, Harry Djanogly’s family made Nottingham their home where he has sponsored the Djanogly City Academy, the Djanogly Gallery at the University of Nottingham and much more. In 1983 he was awarded Commander of the British Empire and in 1993 he was invested as Knight Batchelor.
